I really like play movies (especially when there are special offers)! My only real complaint is.. Some TV series that I purchase I may only want to buy odd episodes! Top gear for example. Now, when I come to watch an episode that I've bought I have to now exactly which season it is from. And I can't always remember. I have to click on each season until I find the episode. Now if I stop the episode for any reason, next time I come to watch it, it is in the recent list! But start a new episode? Back to going through each season. Surely when I go to my library it should show only the the ones I've bought? Still, not a bad app. Full Review

1801 update: Still can't uninstall or move to SD. LET ME UNINSTALL THIS APP! I am not able to use this Android app because the app cannot be moved to secondary storage. I don't have enough space left on my primary storage, so I must move installed apps to my SD card. I understand that you must first install the app to primary storage in Android. That's fine. However, most developers have enabled their apps to allow users to move the app to the SD Card from app storage settings. This app does not allow the user to move it to the SD card. Sadly, I have to uninstall this app since I don't have enough space on my primary storage to keep it. I've heard that some developers prevent their apps from running on SD Cards because the app may run slower. My opinion is: Let the user decide. As it stands, I can't use this app at all because I don't have enough space to keep it installed on my primary storage. Is there a legitimate reason why this app can't be moved to secondary storage? I'd like to know. Full Review

This app is great, but the "Enable binge watching" feature does not work while Chromecasting. It has never worked, for over a year. Does anyone actually test anything? How do you not notice that's been broken for over a year when a simple Google search shows many people have the same issue. Fix it and it's a 5 star app. Full Review

Great service, a great person that talk to me named mava, I truly appreciate the people at Google for their great service, and will always be a customer thank you. And sorry for hanging up on the phone service survey Full Review

I have been using play movies for some time. With every movie the app stops and requires me to continuously press the play button to keep it playing. I have used all of the troubleshooting help advise but nothing has worked. I know this is a defect in the app because I changed devices over a year ago and faced the same issue with my previous Samsung tablet. Very frustrating Full Review

Don't download free episodes, they become part of your permanent library that you can never get rid of. You can remove them from a device but anytime you change or restire devices or have to delete and reinstall the app they all come back and now you can only remove two at a time from the device then have to close and reopen app for the next two. They claim for audit, tax & financial records they can never remove episodes or movies, but these are free episodes to explore if you like it or not. If you don't like it, you still have to keep looking at it over and over forever. Full Review

I don't want this option on my device. I would like the ability to remove it as so wish. It takes up more storage than the apps I actually want. I would like room for pictures or even the ability to check my email and or banking account. These automatic apps make my phone speed so slow I can't even make a phone call. So no, I dont want these irrelevant apps. Full Review

One star because what's the point of allowing show downloads and then when you try to play the movie or show in aeroplane mode or not online the thing tells you you're not allowed to watch offline. Amazon fixed this stupidity in their app a long time back. Won't be renting from play again.... Full Review

Good app. Only problem is that you cannot permanently delete movies/TV shows from your account if you wish to no longer associate with the movie. You can only remove it from your device but it still remains on your account. Please fix and allow us to delete movies we wish to no longer have. Full Review

Good app backed by excellent servers but, for me, there are a couple of large let downs. 1. Purchases can be made even though your device won't play them due to DRM restrictions. 2. I am not interested in renting a film but cannot remove them entirely from app or search results. Telling me I can have a film for as little as £3.99 is a lie. Full Review

Useless bloatware that takes up space that could be used for more relevant apps. Also dislike inability to remove it. This app is forced upon you to get rid of it you have to get rid of Google + which is itself bloatware pseudo social media app. There are much better apps. Probably will uninstall every Google app except for gmail, maps and search Full Review

Not very good. Why pay for movies that you can't watch from beginning to end ? The movies selection is ok but not great. I have purchased a few movies and download them in HD using a very good WiFi connection. But frequently when I try to play them they will hang up somewhere in the middle of the movie. Very aggravating. I have followed Google's instructions to correct the problem and re-downloaded the movies only to find the same problem. So now I have purchased movies that I can not watch from beginning to end. Not happy about that ! Full Review

Update. I am STILL unable to cast saved movies from my phone to my TV with this app. Also, I am unable to download the movies I have purchased. I have contacted Google support for help but the only support they want to give is for Google Wallet? My phone will cast any other screen to my television with no problems. This app tells me I must delete the saved movie from my phone before I can cast it to my TV. I must then stream the movie from the internet to the TV.
