I have long waited for this to finally come out! It has the same exact feel as the console version, and yet it's very different. The team that worked - and will continue to work - on this at Square Enix definitely has not let anyone down. If you never played the console version, this Chibi Style version is a definite must! (My only issue is that ESRB rating. How is the chibi version rated M for mature, but the console version is T for teens?) Full Review

Love what you have done with this game, the gameplay is incredible and it feels just like the ps4 version. After waiting so long for this to come out, it is better than I could have imagined. The the only thing that i would change would be to add the option to chose to use a joy stick. I don't mind using touch for everything else, but would love to at least have the option to use a joy stick for moving around. Other than that though, very impressed with the game. Full Review

This game runs buttery smooth on my Razer phone. The game is spot on with game play and combat. Only problem and by no means a deal breaker is I wish it had a small D pad for moving around hard to move down toward the bottom of screen some times. But this game is awesome I just hope the other chapters are longer then the first one Full Review

This game is great, Square Enix got it right with this mobile port. You can feel the love that went into this game. I am a huge fan of the console version, and have been eagerly waiting for this. I will be honest I did not have high hopes. I will say that Square have went above and beyond on this title. Whether you have played FFXV or not this game is worth a try. They were kind enough to give us chapter 1 free and I am glad they did. I am hooked!! Full Review

I'm late to the world of Final Fantasy, I've always know about it but I am not a fan of turn based action. Then Finial Fantasy XV comes out for XBOX ONE X and I still ignore it. I noticed that it came out for mobile and as I just purchased a Razer Phone I decided to give it a try and I loved it. Then I just finished watching Kingsglave on Netflix and I'm hooked. So because of a Android game I have now watched a movie and pre ordered the Windows edition to through my top spec gaming rig at it in all its glory. Love it. Full Review

Genuinely a solid Final Fantasy Experience for mobile. Don't think this as a cheaped out on, cut down version of FFXV on the console! The Voice Acting and story remain perfectly recreated and the combat is genuinely (for me anyway) way more fun than in the console version itself. Love everything about this game, well done to Square Enix and the FF team! Full Review

A great AAA mobile game... With only a few very early issues. Sometimes the audio flips from English into Japanese during fight sequences. Control stick option would be awesome, but gameplay on Max settings on pixel is gorgeous, if not battery draining. Would recommend for anyone looking at FF game on mobile. Full Review

Translating a vast experience like FFXV from PC/Consoles to mobile, while keeping the feel and atmosphere virtually unchanged is no easy task, yet Square has managed to pull it off. I have had absolutely no bugs or glitches and thoroughly enjoyed my time experiencing this tale in the palm of my hand. This should be the new standard of what "mobile gaming" is held to rather than F2P and freemium nonsense. This is extremely well-made and executed. Hats off, Square Full Review

Oh WOW Square Enix you have nailed this. It is so easy to play, so fun and the gameplay is just perfect for mobile. Those who are complaining just need faster phones. 10 minutes into this game and all I can say is this is amazing!! It is definately a much better launch than ff15 on ps4. 10/10! PS. Game is now stuck on loading screen when I try to load game. Needs to be fixed! Full Review

There's a little bit of confusion with the language sometimes after a battle but it converts back to your settings on its own, subtitles stay in your language at least. Everything else is pretty awesome. I love it! A lot better than the New Empire game that makes you pay an arm and a leg to advance, this one you only pay for continuing chapters and its very reasonably priced especially considering that this game is free. This game is a excellent mobile version . Very engaging and great for those times you sitting in a waiting room and have an itch for some true final fantasy games. Love how they incorporated so many moves and features from the full game. And can't wait for the pc version coming in March. I have been a final fantasy fan since game 1 for nintendo and all the ups and downs. Franchise is alive and strong . Keep up the great work . I will continue my collection . Full Review

Awesome graphics. I had a few choppy audio issues playing with my Bose Soundsport Free Wireless earbuds, however it only happens with a few games. Turning off WiFI resolved the issue. Graphic wise, this game is simply amazing. Feels like playing the original console game with augmented cuteness! Not a fan of buying mobile games but FFXV PE is a must! Full Review

Gotta admit, I'm impressed. Just started playing and for now it seems more in depth than you would think. Love that it supports multiple languages. Audio in a language I don't speak only goes so far and is a nice touch compared to other games which support only Japanese. Can't wait to see what more this game has to offer. Full Review

I LOVE this game! There are newly recorded phrases for the characters & it is just too good! The only complaint I have right now is that 1) randomly in game, the characters will speak in a different language than the default setting. I hope this is fixed in the next patch :) 2) I play this game for quite a while, so my hands tend to hurt after an hour or so. Will there be a joystick option added somehow? Most phones are pretty big these days, so if its easily done, that would be a wonderful feature. Aside from that, I love this game & I love the FFXV series! Full Review

Would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't tap to move. An on screen joy stick would work much better. Tap to move kills immersion. All that aside.... this is AMAZING. FINALLY a game were you can pay a price outright, own the game, and not deal with in app purchases. I can only hope other mobile games will soon follow suit. Play and the purchase this. You will not be disappointed!!! Full Review

The game was decent and looked/sounded nice on my Razer Phone, but once I got to the Errand Prince quest (only about 4-5 quests in to the game), my saved game will not load. I've let it sit there for 5 minutes and still nothing loads, I just continue to see the characters running on the screen. If SE can help me figure this out I would feel comfortable giving more stars, but at this point I haven't been able to play long enough for any solid review. Full Review

Love it. Wish I could control my camera view at least a little. Would be easier if there was a mini map window. Wish I could go back through chapter 1 without restarting it to explore the map again. Can't afford to purchase yet but so far from chapter one I am pretty pleased! I loved XV on Xbox and am so happy to see it on mobile. Full Review

I enjoy everything about it so far. Having finished the game on the xbox, i love that pocket edition tried to keep everything intact while not keeping incompatabilities in phone hardware/limitation/controls. The only problem i have is with the overworld dialogue. Sometimes my team speaks to me in a language other than English at random times. Full Review

I love the console version and this is very different but still good. It adds more depth to some places and less so others. The tap/slash to fight is a bit glitchy but the tap or drag to move is a nice touch instead of a static joystick. I'm only starting chapter 2 and hope the rest of the game is just as great Full Review

It has been a long time since I played a FF rpg(last was 9). It was so good to see familiar names and characters redone and refitted to it's personal game. Finally square was able to make a worthy rpg for smartphones. I wish this would become a new benchmark for devs in making rpg. In terms of gameplay, story and graphics it is what I expexted of Square. I hope they revive old games. I would even appreciate a lower graphics game, just so a story and gameplay is at par. Something like suikoden 1&2 or chronotrigger(pls fix the save protocol) in the old days. All in all, Job well done dev, money well spent. Full Review

Kudos to square enix. This one of the few ff remakes that you've done so far that actually works great! Love it so much except for the tap to move control. Just make an option to move with a joystick then this would be totally perfect. There are some glitches here and there though it still in early stages. I think it would improve more. Bought the whole game right after the first chapter. I really enjoyed playing this!!! Full Review

Can't even play it. It prompts me to turn off my twilight app so I disabled it and it keeps taking me to the "draw over other apps" screen when there isn't anything left to turn off. Such a wonderful version of such a great game. Hell I like this version better honestly. Probably one of the only phone games that I have really enjoyed. More companies to make their games like this instead of doing the money grab bs. So tired of seeing a somewhat interesting game just to find it that it's just the same setup as all of the rest. The only good things in mobile are the ports. Full Review

Started a game then ran into a loading screen issue where it wouldn't load. Finally I had to start a new game and so far it's been good. Really like the cartoonish vibe they've done with the game! Reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. The game just recently launched for mobile so I'm forgiving with the load screen glitch, however, I'm still in the free demo and not sure I'll purchase the full game until I know Square-Enix has corrected the issue. Other than that, it would have been a five star review. Full Review

It's a great game with a great storyline. Controls are simple, almost too simple making it feel a bit more like an interactive story then a game. Cute game, solid gameplay. Character are annoying and immature.
